The NSW Police Legacy Remembrance Bicycle Ride is a 300km bike ride from the Wall of Remembrance in Sydney’s Domain to the National Police Wall of Remembrance in Canberra. The ride, now in its third year, is held in honor of NSW police officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice and to raise funds for the organisation that supports NSW Police Legacy. The ride goes from 1 - 3 May 2015.
NSW Police Legacy, originally founded to support bereaved families following the loss of their loved ones, now extends support to police officers and their families who have experienced tragedy or have needs that require extra support.
We at TriShave are excited to support this important cause and encourage people to get behind participating riders. The riders will travel from Sydney through Mittagong, Bowral, Moss Vale, Sutton Forest, Goulburn, with the final destination in Canberra.
It’s a grueling course, and it gets pretty cold along the
way. We are providing TriShave arm warmers to all riders to make the ride a
little more comfortable. In addition to arm warmers, TriShave is providing 110
tubes of its TriShave 3in1 Anti-Rash Shave Crème that the organisation will
sell onsite to raise money.
The story about how we got involved in this important event begins with our longtime relationship with the Triathlon NSW Sprint Series and the greater triathlon community. Triathlete and cyclist George Adams contacted TriShave last year after having participated in both the Triathlon NSW and the 2014 NSW Police Legacy Remembrance Bicycle Ride.

As a special part of pre-ride festivities, ride organizer Craig Tonks will have his legs shaved by Team TriShave, to make sure his ride is smooth and irritation free.
